Although the pre-season has already kicked off, summer isn’t over, and no one wants to munch on anything heavy in the heat. So for this week’s appetizer of the week, we’re spotlighting one of everyone’s favorite light snacks – chips and guac! And no guilt tags along with this snack, because the homemade chips are baked, not fried!
It doesn’t get more authentic than this classic guacamole. It’s just avocados, lime juice, jalapeno, red onion, cilantro and kosher salt! Who needs anything more than that?
Rustic Whole-Wheat Tortilla Chips
For these healthy treats, simply bake whole-grain flour tortillas for a few minutes, then tear or slice up into chips! Done!
