The dough in these 2-ingredient snowflake cookies is either puff pastry or store-bought pie dough—so easy!

For more snowy cookies, try these Snowball Cookies or these Snowman Sugar Cookies.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry or 1 round store-bought pie dough
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar, for dusting

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Dust your work surface with a little flour. Using a rolling pin, flatten the dough out just to remove any wrinkles or imperfections. Using a snowflake cookie cutter, cut out a bunch of snowflakes and place them onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet. Using a fork, poke holes into the center of each snowflake to "dock" it. This will prevent the snowflake from rising too much.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.

Once cool, dust the puff pastry with plenty of powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container for up a week.
