How to stream the World Series on FOX:

Ingredients

For the Dijon Ranch Special Sauce:
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • ⅓ to ½ cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 large clove garlic, grated or pasted
  • Salt and pepper
  • ½ to ¾ cup finely chopped fresh herbs (such as chives, dill and parsley), combined
For the burgers:
  • 4 pretzel burger rolls
  • Non-aerosol neutral cooking spray
  • 1½ pounds ground sirloin
  • Kosher salt and coarse black pepper
  • Worcestershire sauce, about a teaspoon per burger
  • 1 cup finely chopped white onion
  • Dill pickle slices
  • About 1½ cups chopped iceberg lettuce
  • Pub cheese, any flavor

Yield

Serves: 4

Preparation

Preheat oven to 250˚F.

Combine sauce ingredients in small bowl.

For the burgers, warm rolls in oven.

Preheat large cast iron skillet or griddle with a thin spray of oil over medium heat. Score meat into 4 portions and make cylindrical piles, season generously with kosher salt and black pepper, then sprinkle the meat with a little Worcestershire sauce. Turn heat up to high, add meat to pan, press firmly with metal spatula, and cook until crusty and well browned, about 2 minutes. Flip patties and press a minute more for medium rare, an extra minute for medium well.

Build: slather tops and bottoms of rolls with sauce. To bun bottoms, add chopped onions, pickles, lettuce, burgers, slather 2 heaping tablespoons of pub cheese on patties, and set the pretzel bun tops in place.
