Virtual meetings have become the conference rooms of the pandemic, but instead of sitting at a roundtable, you are joining from your living room...or kitchen or home office. Oftentimes that can mean you're more likely to face embarrassing, unexpected interruptions. Elaine Swann, etiquette expert and founder of the Swann School of Protocol, gives us her tips to manage those mishaps.
"If you're sharing your screen and an inappropriate message should pop up," Elaine says,"immediately get rid of it and apologize, pivot and then move on with the conversation."
