In its opening weekend, *Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules* ruled at the box office, and star Zachary Gordon tells Rachael how he differs from his character Greg Heffley. "Greg is a little bit manipulative," Zachary says, "and he takes advantage of people when he gets the chance, so he's not really like me because I'm nice to people. I have a lot of friends; Greg really doesn't have a lot of friends!"
One thing Zachary does have in common with Greg is the tormenting endured at the hands of an older brother. In the movie, Greg receives it from his big brother Rodrick, and in real life, Zachary had two older brothers to deal with. "When I was younger," he recalls, "I used to get tormented a lot, but now that I've gotten older I can defend myself ... when I can!"
