Eric Mabius may play promiscuous playboy Daniel Meade on *Ugly Betty*, but in his real life he's a devoted family man. "We have a 22-month-old son," he tells Rachael, and the recent writer's strike allowed him to get a little more family time. "We taught him how to go sledding and how to make his first snowball," says Eric, who was happy to return to his work family, which he describes as "the most ego-free group of people." Rachael gushes at the story, and lets him know it's that kind of dedication that has a long line of women angling to make him their spouse. She pulls out a T-shirt sold all over the U.K. with the words "Mrs. Eric Mabius" across the front, and finds the perfect candidate for it in the studio audience: his wife. "That's awesome!" his wife Ivy enthusiastically responds, adding that she'll wear it proudly for the guy she calls a great dad to their son. "When he's home he's 100 percent with Max. He's outside in the garden, and giving him bottles and changing diapers and doing all the great stuff," Ivy says. "No one would recognize him at home." Eric brings along some big news with his wife, and shares a personal story about how he recently found out about the latest Mabius family-addition. "Ivy came down to visit me with Max on set," Eric says. "I looked up at her and I said 'We're pregnant aren't we?' I just knew."
