Our series celebrating the best neighborhood restaurants—AKA "bestaurants"—across the country continues! This one was introduced to us by Rach's friend, Farmer Lee Jones. Jim's Pizza Box is an institution in Ohio known for everything from pizza (of course) to calzones, spaghetti and meatballs and more. Their secret? All of the recipes come from their family—and the support from the community is incredible.
"Jim's Pizza Box started 44 years ago. It was just a box—no seats, carryout only," says the owner, Jim. "We're still a family business...all of the recipes come from my mother Josephine. All of the recipes are made from scratch. What makes our pizza so good is the quality of ingredients. I think that's where it all starts."
