Former Yankee Nick Swisher joins Rach in honor of baseball season—and he's sharing his first memory of baseball—and it's SO cute!
"My first memory of baseball was probably when I was 6 years old. And my father played in big leagues for 10 years, but also coached in the minor leagues for another 12 or 13 years. So, my first recollection of the game was playing tape ball. My dad was coaching for the Waterloo Iowa Indians...and back then there weren't a whole lot of baseballs, so after the game was over when the players would rip the tape off their ankles and they would throw it on the ground, that was a great time for me to grab the tape and create a baseball for myself. And, that's how I would hit in the locker room," says Nick. Such a creative and cute idea!
