Nickelodeon's *iCarly* recently reached 11 million viewers, the biggest ratings for a scripted cable television show in history. "All the characters definitely have their own thing going on," says its star, Miranda Cosgrove. "They have really specific personalities and they're not afraid to show it. Everyone's really themselves on the show, so that's one of the main messages - don't be afraid to be you." In addition to being the new face of Neutrogena, Miranda went "back to school" with the Quaker Chewy Rock Afterschool initiative. "They're helping to bring afterschool programs back into schools," she says, because 15 million kids are left unattended after school. "I did baseball and I made my dad buy me an entire baseball outfit. We sewed my name on the back and a number," she recalls about her own experience with afterschool programs.
