Sexing Up Your Sleepwear with Susan Lucci

The only thing more amazing than Erica Kane's 10 marriages on *All My Children* is the number of Emmy nominations @[Susan Lucci](http://www.susanlucci.com) has received for the role -- 19! And as it turned out, 19 was the lucky number. "On the night I won," Susan reveals, "I actually never heard my name announced at all. But then everyone was looking in my direction and making eye contact, so I knew it must be a good thing that happened to me! My husband lifted me up by my elbow and I whispered in his ear, 'Are you sure?' He said yes, and I went up. I'll never forget that moment as long as I live. It was incredible." Susan is also an entrepreneur who started her @[own line of products.](http://www.hsn.com/cnt/sf/default.aspx?attr=115&prev=hp&rid=677) And when the following women came to Rachael with their sleepwear nightmares, Susan steps in to the rescue: Farrah's husband has tried throwing out her holey-pajamas to no avail; Rebekah wears a *New Kids on the Block* T-shirt to bed which her husband has nicknamed "birth control"; and the highlight of Amy's nighttime ensemble is pink elephant capri pants! These three fugitives from the fashion police desperately seek Rachael's help in sprucing up their self-proclaimed "ugly PJs!" [Grown-ups with footsie pajamas?][3] [][3] Susan empathizes with the women. "I know what it's about to be a mom and raising children and getting so busy and all of that, but I think that you can multi-task. Lingerie can be washable and it can be cozy, but it can be pretty. It can be functional *and* pretty." Susan shows these women exactly what she means with her hands-on sleepwear overhaul. Susan says, "This little baby doll can also be worn with jeans and those shoes and out to almost any restaurant in the whole wide world, though you might not make it out the door!" "If you wear a great strapless bra under this with jewelry and shoes, you could definitely go out. There are no modesty issues with this," Susan says. Susan explains, "This is a bustier -- you could unzip it a little if you want, or zip it up. It has adjustable straps, and you could wear it with jeans or a jean jacket and black shoes."
