St. Louis News Anchor Tells Sweet Story About Interviewing Rachael On Her Book Tour

FOX2 news anchor Shirley Washington recalls how generous Rach was with her time, despite being exhausted on her book tour, promoting Rachael Ray 50. 

"She had come in from being on the road [and] signing autographs on her book tour," Shirley remembers. "She was exhausted by the time she got to our station."

"And they said, 'She's going to be on a tight schedule … make it quick,'" she continues. "But get this — our studio was packed with fans. And when we finished the interview, she was so kind, so generous with her time. She made everyone who stood in line feel as though they were the only one in the room."
