The SXSW Music and Film Festival in Austin, Texas is one of Rachael's favorite annual events, and for the second year in a row she's had the chance to sit down with Matthew McConaughey. His longtime girlfriend [Camila Alves](/show/segments/view/emshear-geniusem-camila-alves/) recently gave birth to a little girl, Vida, and Matthew explains how their new baby is different from their first child, Levi. "Baby girl is a lot better sleeper than a 20-month old son!" he laughs. "Vida is much more deliberate. She knows exactly what she wants."
Though he's most known for his good looks, fit body and numerous films, one of Matthew's true passions is being a music producer. "My favorite part of music is being in the studio," he says, "and trying to make the best music we can." Matthew has worked for several years producing Caribbean singer-songwriter Mishka, who explains how his new album *Talk About* differs from his debut CD: "We stepped up the tempo a little bit on this album and overall the production is a little more succinct as a piece of work."
Matthew also updates Rachael on his j.k. livin ("just keep living") charity. "We have three schools now," he says. "Two in Los Angeles and one in Austin. It's an after school program; they get exercise, they get to learn about nutrition on a budget, and they get to give gratitude." For more information, visit @[jklivin.com](http://www.jklivin.com/).
