The Closer's Kyra Sedgwick

*The Closer*'s Kyra Sedgwick reveals her number one rule for relaxing after a long day on the set, and her routine is not as glamorous as you might imagine for an Emmy®-winning star. "I am wound up and I can't have any wine or anything like that to wind down, because I usually have lines to learn," she tells Rach. "So I usually get into something really comfortable and take off all my makeup. My joke was, I was going to say that I take off all my clothes and walk around naked, but I wasn't sure if that was appropriate for this show!" This summer marks the sixth season of her role as a deputy police chief on *The Closer*, but after spending so many years playing this Southern woman Kyra is still not tempted to use her character's trademark accent home. "I think it would just irritate everybody in my family!" she jokes. If she could make one change to the show, it might be to get her workaholic character Brenda out on a girl's night. "I've been pushing for her to have some kind of a female best friend, or at least try to have a best friend and be constantly called away and watch that not work!"
