Celebrities may seem to have it all, but they often must face huge obstacles while in the public eye, which can inspire their fans to support them even more. "When they're down, we want to raise them up again!" says *Us Weekly* Fashion Director, Sasha Charnin. She is here to share her list of the top four celebrity transformations of all time! **Jennifer Hudson.** "This is a great Cinderella story, but it's bittersweet," says Sasha of the *American Idol* favorite who lost the reality show and went on to earn an Oscar® for *Dreamgirls.* In the midst of the celebration, tragedy hit Jennifer's family. "Something unbelievable happened when her mother, her brother and her nephew were all murdered," Sasha recounts. "It's just an unbelievable story." The singer-actress broke from the public eye before returning resilient and slim. "She emerges as the new spokesperson for Weight Watchers!" Sasha says. "That's something to really just love, and again, want to emulate." **Demi Moore.** "She goes from a 'brat packer' into an adult role - and it's *Ghost,*" Sasha says, joking everyone was in awe of that drama. "The crying, the pottery!" Sasha notes that Demi was the toast of Hollywood, she married Bruce Willis ... then and it all changed. "They leave town! They leave Hollywood ... and she raises her three daughters and they're just completely out of the spotlight." The marriage ended, but Sasha says Demi has again reinvented her life. "This is like the modern day *Brady Bunch.* Bruce Willis, Ashton Kutcher - who she is married to now - and the kids are all together, they're all getting along!" And, now Demi and Ashton have moved their fan base to Twitter, where they have been leaders in social media. "They're moving themselves forward." **John Travolta.** This iconic film star was a huge success on the screen, but Sasha says he cemented his security with a clever choice. "He did something that no actors have ever really done before, he took some cuts in the soundtracks of *Saturday Night Fever* and *Grease*, so every time that a soundtrack is sold, even to this day 30 years later, he gets money for that," she says. But John and his wife Kelly Preston faced a personal tragedy two years ago with the death of their 16-year-old son and have found a way to move forward. "They had a third child actually and overcame all of this stuff," she says, noting it only made John a bigger star for his enduring fans. "To still have people have this love for you is amazing!" **Sandra Bullock.** "Everybody loves Sandra Bullock," Sasha says, of the star of *Speed* and *Miss Congeniality.* "One kind of interesting thing is she did the movie *Crash,* which then made everybody think differently about her, that she really is a great actor. So then *The Blind Side* comes and she wins every major award that you could ever get!" But two weeks later, Sandra learned that her husband, Jesse James, was cheating on her. "She is just completely stabbed in the heart by this man!" Sandra's response? She reinvented her life and announced she had adopted a baby. "She's amazing!"
